North Suburban Rugby Club/ Mounds View Rugby Club

Established in 2000 the North Suburban Rugby Club is one of the most
successful high school athletic programs in the state. In it's 9 years as a
club it has achieved 6 time State Champions and earned the opportunity
to attend the Midwest Qualifiers 9 times. The club has also supported 6
young young men, from this community, to play for the US National
team and represent the United States in countries such as France, Italy,
South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. There are also numerous
All-State and Minnesota Select-Side players within it's history.

The club, based in Shoreview, is open to anyone regardless of physical
size, previous experience with the sport or school that they attend. The
organization has 2 teams within the club; one for players 16 years and
young and the other for players 19 years and younger. This allows the
players to play with other young men about there same age, size, and
ability.

The main part of the rugby season is in the Spring however there are
social and fundraising actives within the club throughout the year.
Rugby is a tremendously physically demanding sport. That being said,
it's one of the best ways to cross train for sports such as Soccer,
Football, Wrestling and Hockey. It will take your game to the next level.
